CO2 laser wavelength 10,600nm is exteremly well absorbed in water of cell and it has very fastcutting and coagulation effect.

Laser beam is delivered though articulated arm with handpice

At the end of tip, laser beam is focused and intensity is maximum, the target tissue is vaporized immediately.

As tip is out of focus with longer distance, so called defocus mode technique, ablation of larger area is possible.
